Welcome our newest Board Member!

Deanna Pennington is Theatre Theatre Maui’s newest board member.

She moved from Washington state to Maui 12 years ago to work for Expedia Local Expert as an Accounting Manager. Her very first stage experience was performing at Iao Theater in 2011 as a madrigal singer with Penny Wakida in “A Christmas Carol.” Since then, she’s enjoyed ensemble roles with MAPA in Les Miserables and Jekyll & Hyde. She also sings with Maui Choral Arts and Maui Chamber Orchestra Choir.

Attending live theater productions is one of Deanna’s favorite pastimes, and she tries to go to every performance she can. She believes that Maui is home to very talented musicians, actors, and dancers, and is honored and proud to be a part of this community.

Pennington has always loved being involved with kids and believes Theater Theater Maui’s goal of providing hands-on theatre experience for children is a great way to nurture and develop future generations of Maui talent. Pennington has also served in the Vestry at Holy Innocents Church from 2012 to 2016 and is looking forward to this opportunity to serve our Board.
