Shakespeare Monologue Competition Underway with Lahainaluna

Led by Lahainaluna English teacher, Ryan Granillo, and aided by Theatre Theatre Maui and Shakespeare Coach Katherine Cloutier, the preparation for the annual Shakespeare Monologue Competition at Lahainaluna High is underway.  Students will compete this Winter 2015 at Lahainaluna High School by performing Shakespeare monologues for three local judges.  The winning student will travel to Oahu to compete in the Branch Competition in February 2015.  If he or she should win the Branch Competition, the student will proceed to the National Competition on the mainland.
